Nicolas Masset

I'll redo your homepage. You only pay if you keep it.

I keep refining it until you love it.

I'm a one-person studio in France. You get European rates, and none of the overhead of a US agency.

This opens an email to me. Your website address is all I need.

See Adeline's new page

Adeline.j, bridal hair and makeup, Diémoz, France

Her old web address was impossible to read out to a bridal party. Now it's adelinej.fr, and a bride-to-be can call or message her from the very first screen.

Adeline's Wix site on a phone: a Wix ad banner at the top, and the headline cut off at the right edge of the screen.
Adeline's new page at adelinej.fr: the full headline, what she does and where, a button to message her and her phone number.
  1. impossible to say out loud
  2. you read Wix before you read Adeline
  3. the headline runs off the screen

How it works

  1. I redo it.

I start from your current site, your words and your photos. You don't have to prepare a thing.

  2. You look at it.

I send you a link. You open it on your phone, the way your customers will. Anything you don't like, you tell me and I rework it.

  3. You decide.

If you keep it, I put it live at your address and you pay. If you don't, you pay nothing and that's the end of it.

The deal, before I start

Homepage

You only pay if you keep it.

And I keep reworking it until you love it.

Full website

One page per service, so Google can find you for each one. If you already have the homepage, what you paid for it comes off the price.

Either way, the domain is in your name and your first year of hosting is on me.

Care plan, optional

No contract, cancel anytime. Need to change your hours, a price or a photo? Email me and it's live within two business days. I keep an eye on your site and back it up. From the second year, hosting and your domain are included.

Prices are in US dollars, and you get yours in writing before I start. I work alone from France, so you pay European freelance rates, not US agency fees.

Sites I've built

  • Noémie Achet-Piret, naturopath, Nort-sur-Erdre, France

Her rates and online booking sit in the menu, on every page. She posts her own news.

    LiveSee the site

  • Les Quatre Saisons, Montessori school, La Roche-sur-Yon, France

Families pre-register their child right from the site.

    LiveSee the site

  • Vendée Apprendre Autrement, nonprofit, La Roche-sur-Yon, France

Donors give online and see right away what their gift really costs them after the tax break.

    LiveSee the site

  • paramaths.fr, my own math tutoring site

Students book a session and pay for it online.

These sites are in French, like their customers.

Who you'd be working with

I'm Nicolas Masset. I live in Vendée, on the Atlantic coast of France, and I build websites for small businesses, all of it remotely.

There's no agency in between. You email me, I answer, and I'm the one who redoes your page.

I'm a registered sole proprietor in France, and every payment comes with an invoice.

Questions people ask me

What if I don't keep it?

You pay nothing. You tell me no, I take the page down and that's it. Your current site doesn't change in the meantime.

What if I don't like it the first time?

I rework it. One client asked for ten versions of her page before she was happy, and every one of them was included.

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, not mine. If you ever want to leave, you keep the domain and I hand you the site files.

What do I need to send you?

Nothing to get started. I work from what's already on your site. If you have better photos, send them over whenever you like.

You're in France. Does that matter?

Not really. Everything happens by email, in English, and through a link you open on your phone. With the time difference, I'm often working on your page while you sleep.

What happens after the first year?

Your call. With the care plan, I take care of everything, hosting and domain included. Without it, you're free: the domain is yours and I hand you the files.

Want me to get started?

Send me your website address. I'll send you back a link to your new homepage, and you decide.
